WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2016-2025
Belgrade Land Development Public Agency has developed the Water Supply and Sewerage System Development Plan for all urban municipalities – 17 plans in total. The Plans have resulted from elaborating the general settings defined in the Strategic Plan for Water Supply and Sewerage System Development in the Settlements Located in the Wider Area of the City of Belgrade Until 2025, which was adopted by the Belgrade City Assembly in December 2015.
Each individual plan defines specific problems of each municipality and the priority tasks for system development, in order to create the conditions for connecting the entire area of the City of Belgrade to the public water supply and sewerage system in the next ten years.
All investments required for construction or redevelopment of the primary and secondary network as well as the funds required for the facilities needed for operation of the water supply and sewerage system, such as the waste water treatment plants, retention basins, pumping stations and reservoirs, have been analysed in detail in the Plans. Total length of the missing water supply and sewerage system amounts to 1.600km, with the investment value of the system and accompanying facilities of approximately EUR 1 (one) billion.
Details of the Water Supply and Sewerage System Development Plan are given separately for each municipality, and all questions (if any) related to plan implementation in any of the municipalities or parts thereof can be sent to the e-mail addresses attached below.
