Infrastructure
Developed urban infrastructure is a precondition for continuous improvement of the economy. In order to develop and grow properly, not only an efficient infrastructural connection of all urban areas of Belgrade itself, but also its connection to other cities, towns and urban areas in Serbia is highly required.
Proper and balanced infrastructure development provides good municipal services to the citizens and constant improvement of urban development level. It also results in the rise of land market price and generates new attractions to future investors. Investments in infrastructure lead to better goals for the City.
Belgrade Land Development Public Agency make plans and constructs road and hydro-technical infrastructure facilities and systems. Its activities provide the conditions for implementation of other infrastructure facilities and systems such as: electric power supply and telecommunication system, heating and gas supply network, etc.
Infrastructure is the backbone of the urban living. Deviated and obsolete, leads to a degradation – but properly balanced, ensures good urban development.
