A Detailed Regulation Plan for the “Jezero” Sports Centre located in the urban neighbourhood of Resnik in the Municipalities of Rakovica and Vozdovac is currently under preparation. The Plan is currently available for early inspection and review by the public in order to provide all information on the basic urban parameters. The background for Plan development was the initiative of the Municipality of Rakovica for preparation of a planning document that would be the basis for sports and recreation centre implementation near the existing water accumulation in Resnik. Implementation of sports and recreation centre would bring multiple socio-economic benefits both to the residents of Resnik and to the wider community.
The area of the Plan amounts to 24,3 ha and includes a part of Rakovica territory north of the existing water accumulation. Plan also includes a forest located south of the water accumulation, which partly belongs to the Municipality of Rakovica and partly to the Municipality of Vozdovac.
In addition to planning of roads, parking lots, bicycle paths and keeping the forest, the Plan will provide construction of sports complexes within a few blocks, which will be designed for recreational activities of the population, training and competition of athletes and sports teams at the local level, as well as for physical education of schoolchildren and youth. Indoor sports hall and outdoor basketball, volleyball, handball, football, tennis, ice-skating, volleyball and beach soccer courts are going to be planned, as well as outdoor sports polygons and sports – commercial centre.
Recreation areas for passive recreation (leisure, entertainment, fun and games for children) will be planned at Pariguz Lake waterfront. Urban furniture for visitors, play and fun for children (benches, chairs, swings, seesaws, slides), recreational facilities (open gym with sports equipment), as well as related commercial activities (retail and catering) will be available within the recreational areas.
The Plan will provide for the possibility of phased construction, cleaning of water accumulation and annulation the existing wastewater outlets will be performed in the phase one. Access road including parking lots, service road, bicycle path and infrastructure shall be implemented afterwards.
During early public inspection period, all interested parties may submit their written comments to the planned solutions to the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction, at the reception desk, 1 Kraljice Marije Street, no later than until August 29, 2017.
